Hello! I'm Lindsey Cleary. I am currently a senior at Auburn University, expecting to graduate Spring 2021 with a degree in Elementary Education. I grew up in Prattville, Alabama, and I have been blessed to be surrounded with such a strong support system. When I set off to Auburn University, I had made my mind up on majoring in Civil Engineering. While my love for calculus is strong, I constantly felt like my personal strengths were not being used. My passion for teaching, encouraging, and uplifting students quickly became my new goal.

Teaching Philosophy

My hope as an educator is to provide a safe and secure environment where students feel comfortable asking big questions. I believe learning can look like a loud classroom filled with organized chaos, as long as everyone and everything is being respected. I believe students should work together to help each other meet their individual needs. But one of the most important pieces is I believe the most learning occurs when parents are involved. I strive to create a classroom with diverse thinking that accommodates each individual learner.
